[RE-wrenches] LG chem RESU battery replacements

I have a customer who was told by LG that a replacement is available for her, but the return shipping box for the defective unit is not. LG said they’d ship the new unit if the installer (me) agreed to store the defective unit in the intervening weeks until the return boxes were ready. LGs estimate on box availability was five weeks at earliest - that was about four weeks ago.

As many might know, the use of a second battery requires a LG with “secondary” classification (firmware, I assume) and the two are not interchangeable. The secondary units won’t be available until September. Crazy, I know. My own personal secondary unit is bogged down in this.
