Our go to "cable ties" have been stainless steel hose clamps with about a 3" length of 600v 3/4" heat shrink pulled over the end before tightening around the rails to secure trunk lines, we also stay away from zip ties. Bulk ordering the 4' lengths of heat shrink and SS hose clamps. Chris Worcester chris at solarwindworks.com530-448-9692Sent from my Samsung Galaxy s9.

We use stainless PV cable clips and the Quickmount PV stainless PV clips that fit QRail or IronRidge. I forbid plastic cable ties on the roof except for the temporary positioning of wires.Jason SzumlanskiFlorida Solar Design GroupOn Mon, Mar 14, 2022 at 3:28 PM William Miller <william at millersolar.com> wrote:Michael: I recommend avoiding cables ties behind PV panels, either roof or ground mount.  With the proper racking and technique none should be required.  See photo below:  This panel will lay down without any cable sag or need to reach under to apply cable ties.  We call this the hinge technique—all cables are lead to a hinge point with just the right amount of slack to allow pinch and sag free installation. William Miller Miller Solar17395 Oak Road, Atascadero, CA 93422805-438-5600www.millersolar.comCA Lic. 773985  From: RE-wrenches [mailto:re-wrenches-bounces at lists.re-wrenches.org] On Behalf Of Michael MorningstarSent: Sunday, March 13, 2022 3:12 PMTo: RE-wrenchesSubject: [RE-wrenches] Cable Ties Wrenches,Who makes the best cable ties, and which part number for under PV wire management?
