[RE-wrenches] Schneider Bootloader mode

While trying to update the firmware on a Schneider 600-80 charge 
controller, it went into bootloader mode and became totally 
unresponsive. This problem was read from the Gateway on Insight Local. 
Tech support claimed the CC was bad.

However, the CC is working fine. It shows up on the SCP with no error 
codes. The only remedy that Schneider is offering is to replace the CC 
if it is under warranty. It likely is not.

How can a Schneider device be taken out of bootloader mode (if it really 
is in that mode)? Could it be an error in the Gateway?
