Hey Bob-O,

Very well said.  I still do a few 12 volt systems, actually prefer them
in smaller cabin systems if the PV home run wiring can be kept on the
short side.  In almost every system I do, I design some DC circuits into
the mix for some day and early lights, and perhaps a stereo.  A lot of
folks run a radio almost all day and having tunes all day (8 hrs) for
perhaps 50 W/hrs, vs. something in the area of 240 W/Hrs (inverter
booted all day) can make a big difference come November and December in
Northern Wisconsin.  Yes, there are DC/DC converters (sometimes noisy
electronics), but in a smaller systems I still like 12VDC.  I think I'll
miss the SW2512 and can't understand why it was dropped except perhaps
to force feed the PS.  Yuck -- Kurt Nelson
