Further to my comment earlier. I guess that the wind option would require another
auxiliary relay to come in just under the sell voltage set point and reconnect the
grid at night during windy conditions.

Maybe both the solar and wind could be simply controlled this way ??

i.e. lower the float voltage, use one of the auxiliary relays (as a slave driving a
larger AC contactor to disconnect the grid just under the sell voltage. This would
mean at night the voltage would float down, the grid would disconnect, the unit
would go into search mode, (unless the wind was blowing.)  In the morning when the
solar comes in the voltage rises and the relay reconnects the grid.

If the owner had heavy loads at night a second auxiliary relay would reconnect the
grid just above the lowered float voltage providing grid power to keep the
batteries charged.

To simple to be possible ??
