Piss poor Trace SW preformance in "sell" mode. [RE-wrenches]

Am very keen to solve this issue down here in NZ also.

I am currently installing a 5 kW PV system which I have split into two arrays
with two inverters, one has a SW3048E grid connected with battery backup, the
other an Australian SEA grid tie inverter.

The efficiency of the Trace is a worry but the client wants essential circuits
sustained during power breaks.

Firstly I wondered, following on from Travis, to lower the float voltage and
drop out the grid at night with a photo-relay to allow the unit to enter search
mode . This would seem to address both sources of excess drain.
