Gas Dryers and Washing Machines [RE-wrenches]

Dear All,

I think that the problems with the Stabirs warrent real care in recommending
them.  We have had a few ( 2-4 ) catch on FIRE.  This was due to mice, but then
we have had no reports in like 20 years on Southern Humbodt living of anyother
type of unit catching on fire.

In regards to energy usage, I don't think the numbers make any a clear choice.
The Stabir at like $1200 vs the Gibson ( which works on mod sine) at like
$600.  You make the choice there.

As to spin speed, unless there is some new numbers the stabir doesn't spin as
fast as the enclosed machines due to water being thrown out around the top of
the unit.  The Frigidare/Sears is up around 1200 rpm. Being some of the
fastest.

I have the Gibson being run on mod sine and SW series Trace units.  I have also
reports of Nepunes as well although I haven't seen in done.

In the end pretty had to justify the added cost for the Stabir.
