Sounds like the Staber is a pretty good unit.  I like the "owner repairable"
features.   Maybe I should measure this customers Neptune again and make
sure it's a full load.  It doesn't to mind being ran by a dual 4048's and
his been going along for a year or so.  The last price I saw was either $900
or a $1000.


 The 100 watt-hr for the Neptune washer seems really low.

Sears and others retailers like them.  I really like checking all the Yellow
Tags while I'm there.  My wife thinks I'm nuts.


I think you will find that in terms of watt hours per cu.ft the a comparable
AC SunFrost still uses more than the Amana I spoke of.    DC might be even
as you would gain the losses from the inverter.  Also, the Amana is burning
at least 250 watt hours per day self defrosting, a feature that the state of
the art SunFrost doesn't have.  And of course the SunFrost costs a whole lot
more (3 times +) assuming your customer can live the freight damage every
one of mine showed up with.  The last time we all talked about fridges I
think some people had some kWh numbers the were higher than the listed specs
for the SunFrost but not as bad off as the Conserves.
