Inverter for home + recording studio [RE-wrenches]

I've done many small music stages at Oregon Country Fair where they 
had a live feed to an FM broadcast. I've had great success with 
Exeltech. I've also sold them to folks with home recording studios 
and all report the machines are dead quiet. The problem is that it's 
not a transformer based machine, so no battery charging. They are 
available up to 4KVA with just about any input voltage you want up to 
120VDC. Kinda spendy, but if he's doing quality recording, he already 
knows about spendy!
