>>Hey Windy,
I had a client who had a slight buzz in his stereo on his home system
powered with a Trace DR3624. He also noticed the usual small glitches on TV
reception though he was unconcerned about the TV. I spoke to Gary at
Exeltech about adding one of his small (250 watt) inverters dedicated to the
stereo and TV (same battery). Gary said that the Trace would not put
garbage onto the exeltech and he was right. No buzz on the stereo and still
running the rest of the house/shop loads (and battery charging capibility)
from the Trace. Gary did say something about the Exeltecks ability to put
"stuff" onto the Trace, but was quite sure the Trace would not put any onto
the Exeltech.
On the flip-side, I know of someone with a Heart Mod-square AND an Exeltech
who does both digital and standard recordings and has experienced some
problems with his rig. Don't know if this is equipment incompatibility or a
problem with grounding/wiring/etc. I am forwarding your original message to
him in hopes he will contact you directly with more info.
