E-meter [RE-wrenches]

William and John,

Thanks for help.  I'll see if I can't break the trend of damaging the
Emeter.  Who knows I might get mad and just step on it from the frustration
of the poorly written directions.  I downloaded the Emeter manual off the
internet and printed it of using Adobe Reader.  It it the same manual but
the print is big enough to read now! On that note I really appreciate the
manufacturers who have all the manuals available to download. (hint to
Dankoff)

I'm thinking I need to power the meter with 12 volts to match the output
voltage of the meter to the generator control system.

I emailed Cruising Equipment last week and have yet to hear from someone. 
The pay for technical support policy of theirs sure rubs me wrong.  It
appears to be a great meter for electric vehicles but for for 48 volt RE
systems I believe I'll stay with the Trimetric.

What about adjusting Peukert's Exponent.  I am using Concordes (AGM's) and I
don't expect to ever go over a C/20 discharge rate except for very short
periods so I am thinking it is not important.
