I hope I am responding correctly. Each battery has a built-in circuit that
is called a top balancer. When a cell in the battery reaches full charge
the circuit bypasses that cell with a top balance current making the whole
battery drop to that top balance current. any battery connected in series
with that battery is forced to that current, such that it will have to
charge at the top balance current of the first battery to go to top balance
current. best thing is to use a 48 volt lithium battery. If you must use
these batteries use a good battery balancer, Victron is the best but still
not as a 48 volt battery.
