The last look I took at Bifacial suggested that the optimal material was/is the "California" white I think EDPM type material pardon my memory on the material name.
Smooth, cleanable, long lasting, expanded & contracted well, easy to waterproof around contact points, pretty bomber material. No Idea on cost this was 12+ or more years ago, look for the old Solyndra PV advertisements they discussed this material as the optimal roof surface.
I have considered bifacial for pole/ground mounts here ID. Has anyone tested or have Beta for improved winter performance?
