[RE-wrenches] ESS: "The garage entry door must be 1 3/8" solid wood...self-closing and self-latching"

It is 2024 IRC R330.4(4) Locations but I believe it is not written to apply
to the garage door, just utility closet, basement, storage space within the
dwelling unit. The attached garage requirement (2) sends you to R302.6
which is drywall requirements, not to the door reqs in R302.5.1. So that is
a bit confusing, maybe it is locally amended language.
