[RE-wrenches] ESS: "The garage entry door must be 1 3/8" solid wood...self-closing and self-latching"

Installing a six Enphase 5P battery system in my hometown and got this note back from our plans examiner. Seeking advice on where this requirement might be found so I can review prior to meeting with him.

"For An ESS except for listed and labeled 'FOR USE IN HABITABLE SPACES' in accordance with UL 9540 and where installed in accordance with their listing shall: ESS installed in a garage shall: 1. The garage entry door must be 1 3/8" solid wood, solid or honeycomb metal door with a 20 minute fire protection rating. The door must be self-closing and self-latching;..."

Items 2-4 were no issues (smoke alarm, parking protection, above 18")

I've installed ESS in my town before and the only issue we went back and forth on was the parking bollard / vehicle protection aspect. But this entry door requirement is not something I had seen before.

Anybody know where I might find this requirement?
