[RE-wrenches] Interconnection for multi-meter setups

Hi Wrenches,

We’re installing on a lot of multifamily buildings these days. Does anyone
have a clue how to apply NEC 705.12 interconnection rules to the type of
setup in the attached photo? In this case, we have a 200 A or 400 A main
service disconnect feeding a 9-meter bank. The meter bank appears to be
setup so that each meter is fed from the main disconnect by factory
bussing. Each individual meter has a 70 A breaker feeding a remote sub
panel. We want to install a 50 A solar breaker. We can interconnect at one
of the existing meters or possibly install a new solar-service in one of
the blank meter spots.

Cheers,

August
