[RE-wrenches] AC/DC in Same Trench?

For some upcoming utility-scale projects our design team is wondering about
placing direct-bury AC and DC circuits in the same trench.
- Firstly, is this even *Code*-permissible?
- Secondly, are there any common sense reasons (induced voltage/signal
interference/etc) for not doing this?
