[RE-wrenches] Tape on modules for wire management

Hi all, 

You code wonks can help out here

I had a friend ask about an install he saw that used electrical tape to attach the PV wires to the modules, yep actually taping them to the back of the module. 

I'm having trouble figuring out if this actually breaks any codes and if so which ones

Then there is the whole ul,listing of the modules and is that approved?
