[RE-wrenches] Enphase failures

M190 (208) = 20 out of 113 have failed since Jan. 2010

I've said this before, but half of these failed inverters had water dripping
out of them, and they were installed at the top of a tilted (ballasted)
rack. So much for NEMA 6. And these failures are all on one system.

M190 (240) - 2 out of 300+
M210 (240) - 0 of 90
M215 (208) - 0 of 130
M215 (240) - 0 0f 70

The M215's are much beefier enclosure-wise. For obvious reasons, I'm
convinced the old M190 cases were sub-par. Enphase has never revealed, at
least to me, the result of their failure analysis on these inverters.

We installed 11 190s on our shop some two years ago. Six of 11 have been
replaced since that time. Another one had to be reset by Enphase.
Admittedly early generation product but based on the record I have not been
offering to customers.
