[RE-wrenches] Solar Attic Fans

The problem I see is that most brands have a motor rated for much higher
power than the paired solar module. Most manufacturers use the same motor
on, for example, their 10, 15, and 20W fans. Nonetheless, if you size and
locate the fans properly for the attic, you will see a dramatic reduction
in temperature. They may not *seem* to move much air, but the temperature
reduction is all that really matters... They work in that sense, at least
in SW Florida where attics get blazing hot and solar resources are
excellent.

That being said, there are lots of valid arguments against them. I don't
have one at my home (I'm saving up for foam insulation).
