[RE-wrenches] Solar Attic Fans

Carl,

 

Although of course I love all things solar, we actually don't recommend
solar attic fans, for the simple reason that the ones I have seen don't seem
to move much air.

 

We generally install the round 24" dia mushroom-shaped fans which move lots
of air, and have a thermostat so they only run when necessary.  Sorry I
don't know the brand name, but we buy them at Home Depot, and they seem to
be well built, fairly quiet, and reliable.
