I use armaflex when I can, or K-flex Eco, which has a higher temp rating and
a substantially better price point than armaflex HT. they're 250 continuous
I think. I could look when I get back in the office.
Beware the k-flex glue is extremely expensive relative to the armaflex glue.
If you're slitting and gluing on an existing system, it might be worth it to
go with the more expensive insulation so you don't have a $90 can of glue
sitting around.
In most cases the armaflex regular stuff will be fine. The only place I've
seen deterioration is when panels have sat stagnant for a while, reaching
reallllyyy high temps.

I am redoing my personal SDHW system and need a bit more insulation for
the plumbing. 12 years ago when installing the system I used this stuff
called senflex (sp?) which was pretty good at handling high
temperatures. I understand it is no longer made. What do you SDHW folks
use for insulating the plumbing on your systems?
Thanks,
Todd
