That has been my experience, just tap it and let them rise to the top.
A few bubbles can make a difference but you don't need to go overboard with it.
the big batteries I mantain are 40 cell packs and if they are fresh
off a charge you will pull bubbles off the plates if you are hurrying
to much.

Ever tap a battery with your toe and watch and listen to the bubbled
getting free?
