satellite internet off-grid [RE-wrenches]

Nik,
We've been on Wild Blue for just over a year now. We're happy with  
it. We switched from Starband- don't bother with them, the speed and  
service suck.
Regardless of satellite provider, there is always a delay before it  
starts to load pages. I'm told that it's a time to uplink then  
downlink thing. This can be disconcerting to folks who have always  
been used to DSL or cable. Just the way it is.
