satellite internet off-grid [RE-wrenches]

I hate my satellite service, it is slow, the provider couldn't care  
less (Xplornet in Canada), and it is quite expensive. I've heard a  
lot of good about cellular broadband but haven't had any first-hand  
experience.
(I've got no cell coverage where I live). Let us know how the  
cellular works if you try it.
