HI Glenn
The PS-1 is of course a single phase inverter system
and a single meter is adaqute for most measurements.
The single meter that outback states measures the net
energy contributed by the solar system. The way it
works is the energy substracted from the meter for
operation of the charger and critical circuits is
compensated for inside the meter.

If you go to two meters you need to state what you
want to measure. For example do you want the net
energy used by the critical circuits? or the energy
used by the battery charger? Or what you want to know
that a single meter will not give you.

either on of off list give me a shout and I will send
you a meter diagram to measure it.
