PORTFOLIO STANDARD 	

Dear Andrew Truitt, 

What is perhaps the year's most important and most visionary piece of
legislation is scheduled for a vote in Congress next week. 

HR969 <http://capwiz.com/re-action/utr/1/FAAKHLVTTU/NXACHLYMWO/1325533661> ,
if passed, will lay the foundation for a national Renewable Portfolio
Standard (RPS) to last for the next thirty years! And it will mandate that
20% of the electrical power produced in this country will come from
renewable sources, including solar, by the year 2020! 

This bill, if passed, will drive the future of renewables here for years to
come. It will transform the renewables industry and help us to get clean
power, clean air, and a clean break from the trap of fossil fuels. You
wouldn't think it would have any trouble passing, but there are always
spoilers trying to weaken good legislation for devious reasons. 

That's why we need you, as a solar citizen, to let your U.S. Representative
know you want him or her to cast a 'YES' VOTE FOR THE FEDERAL RPS! 

It's a vote for your future.
