New Life for Old SW [RE-wrenches]

I replaced a 24 volt battery string for a customer at a fish
farm in a remote area (Jervis Inlet) who later complained that he felt
he was losing his new batteries because his SW4024 wouldn't equalize.
Sure enough,it turned out he had a mid-nineties SW
with a 1200's S/N and no equalize function! New (old) one on
 me!
When I enquired to a Xantrex tech about a possible re-flash,
he sent me a chipset, we changed it out, and like magic, EQ
appeared in the gen menu! it now shows Rev 4.16 (or something like
that.) Thanks, Xantrex! (they don't just have these things lying
around, they had to produce it!) Sometime the mfg's really come through.
No issues so far using new firmware in an old SW. Sure made MY Saturday!
Just wanted to give credit where credit's due!
