My thanks also for Allan's concise description of the problem
of trying to use a smallish generator to run a VFX charger at max while  
supporting at least minimal system AC loads simultaneously
(without tripping the generator breaker)  My experience exactly. Maybe 
Christopher F. has some suggestions on this subject. (his
suggestions always seem to cut the cheese)

I may look idle, but on a cellular level I'm really quite busy.
