I would recommend that you do consider using the output of the 
tristar and a 60 volt element or elements.  This is much simpler than 
grid voltage via contactors etc (with or without an extra, dedicated 
inverter!)  and will look after the battery much better.  Using PWM 
means that you just dump what need to be dumped and no more.

For putting heat into a boiler system, I have used a tank on the 
return to the boiler.  This tank also has a bypass valve controlled 
by a thermostat.  When the tank gets warm the bypass closes, 
diverting the return water through the tank so that the boiler 
receives pre-heated water.  If it gets hot enough then the boiler 
need not even fire.  You do need rather a lot of controls to prevent 
it boiling but it does a good job of putting wind generated heat into 
the building in a controlled way, where it is needed, via the main 
heating system.
