Good idea. Thanks.

A grid-tie system with battery backup should not have annoying false alarms 
because the battery is float charged by PV and the grid. When the grid goes 
down, the low-battery alarm could tell the owner that it is time to take 
extraordinary conservation measures and/or get out the flashlights because a 
blackout is imminent.
