Hi Bill,

Maybe I'm reading the Square-D spec sheet too conservatively, but nowhere in
it do they give approval for combining the three legs for output to a single
inverter. They do show a diagram with one inverter ("load") per pole and
they do say "one inverter may be connected to each pole of the switch".
Elsewhere they say "one 2500 Watt inverter per pole".

I would love to be wrong on this, since as Doug stated, it would be the
cheapest way of using three stings on a single inverter. I don't see any
problem electrically with this set-up, but since the manufacturer is so
specific about the other details of the switch's rating, I have not been
recommending it's use as a combiner.

This may need clarification from John B. at SMA. John?
