Jeff,

Is it the usb version or the ethernet version?  It makes a huge difference, 
especially in networking and compatibility with Mac and Linux systems.

We've had about 4 years of bad to good service with Starband. Once it's
working, it's great. Troubleshooting and setting up is a pain. Have a
computer tech do it, especially if networking (yes, contrary to what
they tell you, it can be networked.) And cheaper than it used to be.

Of course, it still has all the issues of being a satellite system. It
looks like we'll get a WAN in town soon, and I cannot wait.
