On the subject of backfeeding a Outback with a SMA, what happens if  
you connect a generator to this when the sma is running?

The reason for my thinking about this is as follows.

I've got 500' from array to battery.  The access is brutal and  
running large cable ( up to 15kw worth of pv here, 6kw battery  
direct, rest sma type) is very expensive, not to mention really  
difficult.  By using the SMA inverter, I think it'll be a bit more  
efficient, and a fair bit less expensive.

Majority of loads are during the day.

I've got a quad stack, @48v, big battery bank, and big genny, and big  
loads.

would I risk any problems with 1 sma?
would 2 or 3 make more problems?
