Hi David,
I have to agree with Doug on the Grundfos choice, especially with the
very low head you have to contend with. I've sold and installed a lot of
the Lorentz pumps and have had mixed results, the primary problem
historically being the controller, not the pump itself. The SQ is
maddeningly free of out-of-the-box eccentricities - but the instructions
are almost non-existent - being, as they should be, designed to be used
by people everywhere who never learned how to read. The really great
thing though is being able to apply just about any electrical input you
can imagine and pumping water. Cool.
