We've had great luck with them here in Western NY. We have 2 in the air
now....both up for about 2.5 years now. 1 is on a homemade 80' tilt
up...the other on a 84' Lake Michigan Wind and Sun tilt up.

We are about to hoist one up on a 85' A.R.E tilt up as part of a
grid-tie installation/ 4 day wind training in Holland, NY. From what
I've seen so far, the tower engineering is solid and there has been a
lot of attention paid to the details. We'll know a lot more about these
towers after the 1st week in May. We are having the pipe shipped out
with the tower....no one on the east coast seems to have heard of
schedule 10 pipe.

A side note....the AWP 3.6 has been through some blade issues in the
past and through all of it, A.R.E. has been extremely responsive to
customer service. A nice change after dealing with a very unresponsive
wind turbine company for many years (and I do NOT mean Bergey!) And with
the newest version of blade we saw close to a 20% increase in power on
both machines.....very encouraging!

Travis...you will find that this is a very heavy machine for it's
rating. Prepare to use about 7.5 to 8 yards of concrete for those
anchors. As for hardware....always assume that you need to bring extra
along...just in case! My average travel to jobsite is 4-6 hours....we
bring everything including the kitchen sink.
