Hobos will work, they're the cheapest data logger going by far and pretty
simple to deploy. They don't have a lot of data resolution, though, since
they only use 8-bit data converters. What this means is that you need to
have the full scale range of your current sensors pretty closely matched to
the peak currents that you want to measure. Otherwise your data
measurements will be a lot coarser than most of us have come to expect
these days.
