Here's a solution to remote monitoring that some of us wrench types may
be able to use.
My customer wanted an easy way to view their system's real-time data
monitoring software, change inverter settings, ect. over the internet.
The data, graphics, ect. are already available on their local computer.
Instead of uploading to a server / website, we are going to use
www.gotomypc.com <http://www.gotomypc.com/>  . This program allows any
internet-connected computer (customer has DSL connected 24/7) to view
and emulate the local computer remotely. You can edit, save, view, ect.,
as if you were sitting at front of the local computer, for about
$20/month. It saves a lot of time, money, and aggravation. It works
great to work on my office computer at home, also. End of advertisement.
