Voltage clamp [RE-wrenches]

Thanks Solar Ray
If you had a 120 volt DC wind mill and no longer had a
controller, and this was going to be grid tied, how
would you convert to 120 volt to 48 volt for the
battery and grid tie?  It has a battery because the
owner wants a UPS capability,  It has a 48 volt pv
system that I wanted to intergrate with.  

The MX60 is a DC to DC transformer that can handle 70
amps at 54 volts,  or about 3780 watts output and can
convert down from 145 volts.  so it is almost correct.
 But Outbasck wants me to use a voltage limiter to
prevent the input from going over 140 volts.   I am
open for all suggestions at this time.
