Battery Charger Options [RE-wrenches]

Hi Travis
I think the MX60 will do it.  I tried something sort
of like this with an MX60 and the magic smoke stayed
inside.  
My experiment I used a MX 60 to charge a set of 8-D
wet cells because I did not have a 24 volt battery
charger. I set the max current at 10 amps though.  
 
I wonder if the batteries are overcharged, which I
have had SW problems with.
