Whisper woes [RE-wrenches]

Hi John,

My guess is that his furling bearings are shot. This would allow the 2 
halves of the outer case to rub together and stick it in furl mode. Or 
the bearings (or shaft/sleeve assembly in some models) are toasted to 
such an extent that they're locked up.
Either way, my guess is that the turbulent winds at 25 feet are 
battering this machine to death! Have him look for the "dust of 
death"...what Dickens would call the ghost of bearings past.
