Warning! Looks Like a Scammer to me! [RE-wrenches]

Matt and all,

Backwoods offers a free "Customer Classified" service to our customers where
they can sell used items on our website or through a newsletter we publish
very irregularly. One of those customers who had placed an ad with us
received a US Cashier's check last week for his used items. The check was
counterfeit. Fortunately, he waited for it to clear before shipping his
items. The people associated with the purchase were named, Peter Doyle and
Hilda Ibis, I believe.

And yesterday, I received an email from another person with an ad on our
website who was waiting for a Cashier's check from another individual(name
unknown). The buyer wanted our customer to deposit the check; keep the
amount she was owed; and then pay a "freight company" that THEY had arranged
to pick up the goods on the day the check arrives from the balance of the
cashier's check. I have warned her and await the outcome.
