Over current protection for charge controllers [RE-wrenches]

I agree with Mathew. The other problem with tripping or opening the main
breaker is that the inverter is now be exposed to open circuit array
voltage.

I too use a breaker on both sides of the charge controller and join them
together. However, if the controller input breaker and the main DC
disconnect breaker are ganged together then this isn't necessary.
