Here in SF Bay Area we typically tilt PV module to 30 degrees for best
year round performance for grid tied systems. I occurred to me recently
that laying the panels further back to 20 or 15 degrees would capture
more of the high value energy when using a Time of Use meter (western
sun later in the afternoon etc.)  I thought this might help also when
panel orintation was, by necessity, slightly east of south, but a TOU
meter was in use. Does anyone have firm figures or a strong opinon about
this.
