Matt,
Could you find out what brand of meter that was? I am familiar with the
5-dial meters that turn forward when they are turned upside-down, but I am
not familiar with a meter where the disc turns backwards and the dials go
forward. I would like to know.
Bill.

I have encountered this on a few occassions. There are two obvious
answers, based on my experience. Mo already questioned one of them and
Keith hit on it as well....A change in consumption, either from usage
patterns or a failing appliance.
If that isn't the cause, it is possible that the Revenue Meter is not
truly a "bi-directional meter"....It may actually be spinning the wheel
backward but the dial indicators continue to move forward. ***SNIP***
