What happened with Exit fees [RE-wrenches]

The three senator, Burton, Sher, and Bowen are all friends of PV. They had 
problems with Peevey's AD (alternate decision) because he went beyond 
exempting solar electric and included another class of technologies ,Ultra 
clean and low emmisions. The politics of this stuff is a quagmire. Suffice it 
to say that a sometimes friend ,( an organization),of PV prevailed to get 
Peevey to make this extension. Low emmissions is indeed combustion and this 
got the senators riled. Inside consensus is that solar is going to be ok but 
I am always nervous about the behind the scenes action. 

Communicate nicely and support the senators for their fine work on solar but 
it can't hurt to let them know that the continued uncertainty hurts PV. I 
personally experience potential customer after customer that asks about the 
"solar tax" and say they are not buying until it goes away. Now , another 
month of supressed sales----. It also diminishes my credibility with a 
customer after saying it would be over on a certain date only to have it 
extended another month.
