Drake, the Morningstar SunSaver series (10 amp) is probably a safe bet.
We've sold both Morningstar and Lyncom for several years...far fewer, if
any, return calls about Morningstar. Their stuff is generally fool
proof.

Does anyone know of a reliable low temperature 12 volt, 8 amp continuous
charge controller that is good for gel batteries. Lyncom units failed
two
years in a row during cold snaps in the mountains of Colorado. The
control
needs to be good for at least -20 F.
