Water Miser Caps venting water [RE-wrenches]

Point of clarification:
The original inquiry was about Water Miser caps, which apparently use tiny
plastic balls within the cap to serve as surface area to collect condensate
and return it to the cell (Wrenches, please set us all straight here if my
description is out to lunch). Don is addressing Hydrocaps, which
catalytically recombine the hydrogen and oxygen.

I have never understood the benefits of Hydrocaps and have never sold them.
It seems like the extra work of removing them each time to equalize is more
work than adding water. And once we saw the top blown off an L16 after we
increased the array on an existing installation. What have I missed all
these years?
