Water Miser Caps venting water [RE-wrenches]

Wrenches,

Is it normal for Water Miser caps (or Hydro Caps) to vent water out of the
top? I've seen water pooling on top of my client's batteries, and we're both
wondering if this is normal (my client thinks not, and believes the caps may
have gone bad). You may be wondering what the bulk and float voltages are.
My client's nominal 24-volt IGB's run around 29.2 and 26.4 volts
respectively.

I don't have experience with these caps, and only know that my own ancient
T-105's (no caps) do frequently have water on the top. I wipe 'em off and
fill 'em up now and then.

Thanks,

Gary
