Jay,

I second Jeff's vote, but I have the Fine-Pix 2600 which is OK if you're 
looking for a 2 MPixel, less expensive camera. They're running about 
$175 now from local retailers. One thing that stands out is great 
battery life. It even comes with a couple of NiMH AA cells and charger. 
Also the software was very easy to use.
